What is a dental implant?
A dental implant treatment consists of 3 parts:

Implant, biocompatible titanium securely placed in the jawbone
Abutment, which connects the crown to the implant
Crown, which replaces your lost tooth

What to expect from a dental implant?

A dental implant procedure takes place over multiple visits. During the first visit, the implant itself is surgically placed in the jawbone. After the healing process, which takes anywhere from 3-6 months, we’ll restore the implant with the abutment and a durable and natural-looking dental crown.

How many implants can you get?

As long as your gums and jawbone are healthy and strong, you can have as many dental implants as you have teeth that need to be replaced. However, if you need multiple implants, we’ll often recommend implant-supported dentures. This involves placing up to 6 (and as few as 4) individual implants in your mouth. Dentures are then permanently attached to the implants, providing a strong foundation and natural-looking results.
